About Dr Paritosh Gupta

Dr. Paritosh S Gupta is the Head of the Department of General, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon, India.
He joined Artemis Hospitals in December 2012 as a Senior Consultant and was later promoted to Head of Department.
Previously, he has served as Head of the Department of General Surgery & Minimal Access Surgery at Indian Spinal Injury Centre and Nova Specialty Surgery, and as Head of Department at Columbia Asia Hospital GBD.
He has worked as a Senior Consultant in Department of General Surgery & Minimal Access Surgery at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, and at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj.
Dr. Gupta has over 17 years of experience practicing in Delhi and NCR.
He has performed more than 14,000 successful surgeries, showcasing his extensive expertise in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgeries.
Dr. Gupta is a graduate from Sh. M P Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat, and completed his MS (Gen Surgery) there. He is a Board-certified surgeon from the National Board (DNB, Gen Surgery).
He holds a Membership from the National Academy of Medical Sciences and is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, where he completed the Leadership & Management Executive Programme in 2016.
He has been awarded FMAS (Fellow Minimal Access Surgery) by AMASI and FAIS (Fellow Association of Surgeons of India) for his contributions to General Surgery.
Dr. Gupta is a trainer and faculty at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE) and has trained many surgeons in Solid Organ Laparoscopic Surgery.
He is also a teaching faculty at Artemis Hospitals, involved in training and teaching DNB Postgraduate students in General Surgery, and has helped establish the FNB (Minimal Access Surgery) program.
Dr. Gupta is an active member of various committees, including Renal Transplant and Infection Control committees, and has contributed to the efficient running of operation theatres.
