Dr. Padman qualified from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations in Orthopedic Surgery.

He worked in the UK for 10 years in various Orthopedic departments at the University hospitals of Leeds and Sheffield, where he obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and passed the intercollegiate exams in Trauma and Orthopedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2008.

During his training in the UK, Dr. Padman conducted basic research on biological reactions to polyethylene used in arthroplasty, earning a Masters in Research from the University of Leeds in 2004.

He completed his fellowship at Sheffield Children's Hospital as a National Fellow in Pediatric Orthopedics and worked as a Consultant - Pediatric Orthopedics before returning to India in June 2009.

With 20 years of experience, he has been associated with prominent institutions such as Sheffield Children's Hospital, Max Healthcare, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, where he served as a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.
