Dr. Bhan is an outstanding cardiovascular surgeon and a graduate from Medical College Srinagar, where he was the Best Outgoing Graduate and Gold Medalist.

He has the largest experience in Aortic surgery in India and has conducted over 15,000 successful cardiac and vascular procedures.

Dr. Bhan has designed and developed more than 50 surgical instruments in the field of cardiac surgery.

He was a key member of the team that performed the first successful Heart Transplantation in India in 1994.

Dr. Bhan played a crucial role in starting cardiac surgical programs at Puttaparthi (1992), Whitefield (2001), and Max Heart and Vascular Institute Saket (2004).
