About Dr. Z S Meharwal

	Dr. Z.S. Meharwal is the Executive Director and Head of Cardiac Surgery, Heart Transplantation, and the LVAD program at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.
	With over 30 years of experience, he has performed more than 30,000 cardiac surgeries, including complex procedures and LVAD placements.
	He is a pioneer in several new cardiac operations in India and actively involved in teaching and training, serving as the Programme Director of DNB Cardiothoracic Surgery.
	Dr. Meharwal has trained many cardiac surgeons both in India and abroad, and has been invited as a faculty member at national and international meetings.
	He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and received numerous awards, including the President’s Award for his contributions to cardiac surgery.
	Notable achievements include receiving a Citation Award from the President of India, Saharanpur Aditya Samman, and entering the Limca Book of Records for performing CABG on the oldest patient, a 94-year-old man.
