What is a TreatGlobe subscription?

TreatGlobe is a monthly subscription service for people who want to experience tastes from around the globe. Each month we deliver a box of your chosen theme through your door. It really is that simple. The treats are selected at random on a monthly basis, and with every box, you get a handy information card to read while munching or slurping away. As not many people can travel at the moment, TreatGlobe is an excellent way to experience new flavours or experience the taste of home.

What treats can I choose?

For now, we offer two types of subscription boxes. British Sweet is a selection of Candy, Chocolate and other treats popular in the UK and American Sweet which is again a selection of Candy and Chocolate loved by the US. We are working with suppliers to bring you a much broader choice in the coming weeks with treats from many different countries alongside different tastes such as our Fizz, Vegan & Japanese boxes.

Are your boxes COVID-19 safe?

Like all businesses, TreatGlobe has been impacted by Coronavirus, and we have had to adapt. We can confirm that all of our products are safe leaving us & are now held in secure storage for over 24 hours before being dispatched. Team TreatGlobe all follow social distancing while with us and are supplied with PPE. We are trying all we can to keep everyone safe and treats arriving safely to your door. Thank you for your support at this very tough time for everyone.

Because of COVID-19 will my box take longer to arrive?

We are experiencing slightly delayed shipping times due to the number of packages being shipped at the moment alongside our 24 holding period. We are working tirelessly to get your boxes to you ASAP so thank you for your patience.

What if I have a food allergy?

We post a list of nutritional and allergen information here for each box alongside the information provided by the manufacturer on the product packaging. Some of our products may have allergen or nutritional information in a language you cannot understand so if you have an allergy and are in doubt, do not consume the product and contact us. We sincerely care about our customers, and the last thing we would want is for someone to become ill. Please contact us if you or the person receiving a box has an allergy, and we will try our best to amend your box. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this, and we cannot be held responsible & are not liable for any incidents involving allergens. Finally, please note we pack all of our boxes in one environment that may contain nuts and other allergens. Remember if in doubt, do not consume the item.

How do I join a TreatGlobe subscription?

With just a few clicks! Select your box, your payment method, and TA-DA it's on the way. If you are looking for a one-off gift, you can order individual boxes here. Perfect for special occasions or for letting someone know you are thinking of them.

What will arrive?

Firstly, here at TreatGlobe, we honestly care about the environment. All TreatGlobe packaging is recyclable and eco friendly. Inside our boxes, you will find an information card. On the card will be information about the contents of the box, a little from team TreatGlobe on what we have been up to and also cheeky Insta snaps from #treatglobe. Make sure to use #treatglobe to be featured on our socials and in our boxes! Finally, the bit you have all been waiting for, the treats! Our standard box features five treats hand-selected by our team here in the UK. If five treats are just not enough, you can upgrade to double, triple, or quadruple the snacks in the box! You can say it is for the family, but don't worry, your secret is safe with us ;).

What's this I hear about more than five treats?

As we said earlier if five treats in our standard box are just not enough, you can upgrade to double, triple, or quadruple the snacks in the box. For example, if you chose to double your box, you will receive 2 of each treat, if you decide to triple you will receive 3 of each item etc.

What's the difference between your Subscription and Gift Boxes?

Our subscription box is put together by our team and dispatched monthly. Our gift boxes, on the other hand, are one-off purchases and are available here alongside other retail outlets. You can cancel or amend your subscription plan at any time by logging into your account. One time gift boxes are not the only way to bring a #treatglobe smile to someone's face. If your feeling generous, nothing is stopping you from gifting a monthly subscription to someone. I wish I had friends like that!

Can I choose what arrives in my box?

Yes, and No, just what you need from an FAQ answer, I know! Let me explain. You can choose what type or "theme" of subscription box you would like. For example, a British Sweet box will contain a selection of Candy, Chocolate and other treats popular in the UK & our Vegan box (Coming Soon BTW) will have snacks containing no ingredients derived from animals. You cannot, however, specify what goodies are in the box for now. Team TreatGlobe are always open to feedback though so we would love to hear what you think by either sliding in our DM's or dropping us a message here.

Do you really have a team of people testing and choosing different treats every month, and can I do this job?

One of the best jobs in the world, right? We carefully choose a mix of treats to match your box selection down to a tee. We try to mix a range of favours and also find some obscure limited additions, so you get a good variety every month. As for can you join the team eating candy all day? Get in touch and let's see if we have a position available. We are always looking for good people to join the team.

How do I know what's in my box?

Open it silly... Only playing, we don't want to spoil the surprise so you will have to wait and see when it arrives!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most major payment methods through our portal. If you do not spot your preferred payment method, reach out to us, and we will look into this for you.

When will I be billed?

You will be billed for your first month/one-off payment as soon as you purchase one of our subscriptions or gift boxes. Following that subscription customers will be billed on the first of every month.

I've paid for postage, but my box is now subject to customs charges?

As a result of Brexit alongside other factors, please be aware that recipients of orders being sent to addresses outside of the UK may now have to pay customs charges before claiming their parcel from a local delivery office. We are sorry if this has happened to you and we are looking into how we can avoid this happening to our customers in the future.

Can I apply discount codes to every box?

Discount & referral codes are only applied to your first box. All other boxes after that will be charged at our standard price.

Do you donate to charity?

Here at TreatGlobe, we love the world we live in, and we are working extremely hard to minimise our impact on the environment. Alongside using sustainable and recyclable materials for our packaging, we have also committed to donate 5% from every new subscription* to various charities working hard to plant trees and protect the environment. Thank you for your support in preserving our planet for future generations. *Terms and Conditions apply.

Do I need an account?

Yes, you will need an account to use TreatGlobe subscriptions. Your account lets you manage your personal information and make changes to your subscription & billing.

Can I track my box?

Our subscription boxes are not tracked as standard; however, you can opt into tracking when signing up for a small fee per month. All of our one-off gift purchases are shipped with tracking. You will receive your tracking information via email once your order has been processed.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Something wrong? We love having you onboard, so if we can do something to keep you with us, please get in touch. If you would still like to cancel, log in to your account or reach out to us and we can process that for you. Remember you can pause your boxes at any time, perfect if you will be away from home for a while or just fancy a break.

Can I pause my subscription?

You sure can! Log in to your account or reach out to us, and we can get that sorted for you. If you are moving, why not keep your subscription active and change your address via the portal.

Can I make a change to my subscription?

You sure can! Simply log in to your account or reach out to us, and we can get that sorted for you.

How soon are orders processed?

We aim to process your order within 48 hours with it being dispatched in 5 & 7 working days; however, this sometimes may take longer during busy periods. For our existing subscription customers, we ship your boxes around the 3rd week of every month. If we encounter an issue with your order, we will be in touch as soon as possible. Quick Tip: If you are ordering a gift box for a specific date, please make sure you place your order at least 28 days in advance to avoid disappointment.

Do I receive a refund for cancelling early?

If you would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to inform us or do so before your next payment date on the first of the month. We are unable to process refunds. If your payment has been taken, a box will be dispatched, and we can then process your cancellation.

How do I receive a refund?

Unfortunately, none of our products are eligible for refunds at this time, and we do not accept returns. If you are not happy with your purchase or subscription, please get in touch, and team TreatGlobe will do everything we can to remedy the situation.

Are my treats actually from another country?

Most of the time, yes they are! We use import suppliers, so you get an authentic treat experience; however, sometimes we may not be able to source genuine import products. If this is the case, we will substitute items with an EU/UK product.

My box is lost or has been stolen, can you help?

If your box has not arrived, please reach out to us, and we will look into it for you.

An item is out of date, whats going on?

We double-check all items are safe to consume when leaving us, and we recommend you enjoy the contents of your box within 14 days. It's worth noting that some manufacturers list date codes differently. Some print the date of manufacture, not the best before date, while some list the date as MM/DD/YY, not DD/MM/YY. If you are still unsure, please contact us with your dispatch code, and we can look into any issues

My box is damaged, can you help?

If your box is damaged when it arrives, please take photos of all sides of the box and the unopened product inside, get in touch with team TreatGlobe, and we can investigate further with our shipping partner.

The items inside of the box have melted/appear damaged, can you help?

Unfortunately, we cannot control elements of the shipping process, and as we ship boxes all around the world, certain products may become broken, damaged or melt in transit. We ensure our products are 100% when leaving us. If your items are inedible, please take photos of all sides of the box and the product inside, get in touch with team TreatGlobe, and we can investigate further.

I don't like the treats in my box, can I substitute an item?

We spend a lot of time and TLC designing and building our boxes for you to enjoy; however, we also understand that some of the products may not be to your taste. At this moment in time, you cannot substitute items in your box. Here at TreatGlobe, we are always open to feedback, so please get in touch. We love your feedback.

I have received this item before. Why?

We try our best to ship a good variety of snacks every month however depending on demand and as we use imported products you may see an item you have tried before in one of our previous boxes or treats from the same manufacturer. We work hard to source as much variety as possible.

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately not. As always if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase get in touch, and we will do our best to get it sorted for you.

I have a question, can you answer it?

We keep a close eye on our inboxes and socials, so any questions slide into our DM's, we love a chat or a spicy meme!

What countries do you ship to?

Along with our shipping partner, we can dispatch items pretty much worldwide. We have worked extremely hard to find you the cheapest and most eco-friendly shipping options. As we are based in the UK shipping to UK addresses will be less expensive than others and sometimes even free!

How long will it take for my box to arrive?

UK orders should usually take 3-5 business days to arrive after they've been shipped. International delivery dates can vary, but we try to get them to you as fast as possible!

How do I change my shipping address?

You can log in to your account and change your shipping address from within the portal.

Will the cost of my subscription change?

If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription, your next payment will reflect this. At this moment in time, we have no plans to increase or decrease our monthly subscription cost, but if we do, we will communicate this to you.
